Beatty Outlet Mall and Vineyard

The project is located at the south edge of the town on US Highway 95. The total acreage of the property consists of 79 acres. The land is situated against a beautiful mountainside backdrop and encompasses some of most beautiful views one could wish to have for a project of this type. The Amargosa River travels along the western portion of the property with north to south flow and usually has a light flow of water for most of the year. There are numerous cottonwood trees along the river edge as well as a natural desert landscape. The majority of the land is sloping from the mountainside toward the roadway with slightly rolling hills that are situated in an east -west direction. One can define the features of the land as slightly mountainous and rocky with a few scattered desert shrubs throughout the areas existing landscape.
The design and scope of the project had to take into account that most of the land is undevelopable without extensive grading if one were to try and develop the acreage into housing units. Grading a site of this kind for housing is consistent with much of modern day development. HB Consulting has taken a different approach. Our preliminary 3d model design project consists of a fully functional truck stop, vineyard, hotel, golf course and day use park all along the Amargosa River.
This project also consists of a 30 to 40 acre vineyard. This is the main focal point. With a fully functioning winery, tasting room, outdoor concert hall and vacation rentals. The main winery building and tasting room will be designed to appear as large wine barrels. The position of this facility will over look the highway located up on a high focal point on the mountainside. The concert theater seating will travel up the mountain with grass landscaped bench seating to allow for the, bring your own chair and blanket rule. The vineyard site encompasses walking trails and personal picnicking shelters that overlook the vineyard and sets back along the trails facing the outdoor concert hall. Across the vineyard the eye catches the beautiful constructed personal vacation rental homes. These homes share the same harmonic architecture as the other buildings on site, on a reduced scale of 2 bedroom and cooking facilities. Each vacation rental shall have a porch that overlooks the vineyard and outdoor concert hall.
